Worth knowing
When building a petanque or boccia court, careful planning of the gravel surface is crucial. A clean surface that is separated from the ground prevents the rapid growth of weeds. To avoid puddles, the gravel surface should either be level with the surrounding green area or a drainage pipe should be installed at the lowest point. Materials such as wooden sleepers, logs, paving stones or rubber kerbs are suitable for the edging. The track usually measures between 12 and 15 meters in length and 2.50 to 3.50 meters in width.
